First competition of the season I competed for the Club at Ipswich in the Southern Womens League

I did the Longjump (2.15) , 100m (15.7) and 200m (34.8).

Always good to get the first competition under way as a benchmark for times/distances. Mine were a little slow but only 1st competition, time to Improve by end of June for IAADS European Championships in Rome.

This was my last competition of the season and I ran the 100 and 200m winning both, I equalled my PB in the 100m but a little of the mark for my 200mb in a time of 33.09 (32.5psb)

Good close to a great year where I set new world records, got 5 Gold medals at Internationals and feel really happy and focussed for next year.

No more comps until later in the year (inside) but my training routine keeps going so drop back soon and see what I am up to.

What a day to remember at the Paralympics we watched the swimmers in the morning who were amazing. I like the Orbit great view but a little scary.

The Evening was magical at the stadium saw the most amazing athletes give the performance of their lives, truly proud of all of them. Really thrilled for Jonnie Peacock what a race and I was there to see it incredbible he was inspirational.

It would be truly wonderful to compete at the Paralympics, so come on I.P.C. please include Athletes with DS at the party

This weekend I competed at the Welsh Championships winning two gold medals for the 100m (with a PB of 15.2sec) and the 400M in 83sec.

It was also an opportunity to meet up with Team GB before we go out to Russia next weekend. It was the first time we girls got to race the 4 x 100m relay together we came second to Worcestershire, a really good team who gave us a good race.

Bye for now

I was thrilled and honoured to be part of South Cambs District Council celebration of the paralympic torch coming to Milton. I was really excited to carry the lanten across the lake and to be part of something very special. It was a great day and one I will remember for a very long time.

Big thanks to South Cambs for giving me the chance to do this.

Good luck to all the athletes taking part in London 2012 Paralympics you are so lucky.

Today I competed in the Southern Region Championships at Thames Valley.

I did two events the 100m coming second with a silver medal and the Longjump winning and getting a gold medal.

Really pleased as last week was the first week since the 10K I have been able to train fully.

Really pleased with my performance and now turning up the training and effort for Russia in September.

Keep all your fingers crossed for me

This was a home competition for C&C who hosted the Southern Womens league, so it was nice to take part in an event with all my training partners, I was a now scorer but really pleased with my Longjump which was 2.75, my 100 was abit slow at 16.1 but my 200m has improved to 33.9.

Hopefully will get it down further for my next competition which is in the Azores on 15.5.12

Had my first competition this weekend I did the 200m and came third with a time of 34.4 way off my PB of 32.5 but its the start of the season. Well done to my friend and winner of the event Vicki who I went to Athens with.

Not brilliant but its a start.

I was invited by Special Olympics to do a promotion for them which is the London 10K, the orgainsers of the British 10K are making Special Olympics one of there charities and Special Olympics are hoping to get 2012 runners to take part in the event.

At the promotion I met Special Olympic ambassadors Heather Small, Anna Hemmings, Darren Campbell, Chris Kamara and Katherine Merry. Our photograph appeared in OK magazine (issue no 822)

Hello Everyone,

I am really excited to share with you that I am one of the very lucky 8000 Torch Bearers who will be running the torch relay around the whole of the UK.

I am doing my relay on 27.5.12 in Haverfordwest somewhere I have never been but really excited to see.
