I am thrilled and excited to be able to share with you that UKSA and INAS are trailing the introduction of two new classifications one for Autism and the other for Down Syndrome this coming summer in Paris for the INAS Summer Games. This is a huge step and one I hope will lead to the paralympics inclusion of athletes with Down Syndrome.
I have been selected to represent GB at the Games in Paris. I will work really hard and do my best.
Soooooooo Excited

UKSA announce British Team heading to Paris to first Inas European Summer Games
I have just returned from South Africa with Team GB, we had a great competition and came 5th overall, but we were thrilled with our medal haul of 5 gold medal and 3 bronze medals.
I was really pleased with all of my events and got a season best performance in all, thrilled to get 5 gold medals in my events
100m, 200m, 400m, Longjump and Triathlon (100m, longjump & 3kg shot)
I was also very proud to be honored with the female performer of the games.
Here are some photos:

Following on from my good start at the DSE regional championships in Chelmsford, I has just returned from the IAADS (International Association of Athletes with Down Syndrome) European Championships in Portugal.
Team GB had a really good competition and I am very pleased with my 5 gold medals for all the events I competed in, 100m, 200m, 400m, Longjump and for the first time the Triathlon (100m, Longjump and Shot). Mum suggested I try the Triathlon as they include my events and I am so pleased I did as I set a new world record for this event, as well as retaining my world records in all my other events.
Team GB came fourth overall (1st Portugal, 2nd Italy and 3rd Turkey), after the competition Mum, Dad and I stayed on for a few days to explore the beautiful city of Porto – really good and the port is very nice I liked the White port (but only after the competition had finished!)
My next competition is now the Mencap Nationals in Manchester in June.
Went to the D.S.E Regional championships at Chelmsford
It was really good to catch up with old friends from my Junior National days, I had a really good competition and very pleased with my performance
Silver in the 100m & 200m
Gold in the longjump
Even the rain drenching me in the 100m could not dampen my happiness.
My focus is now on Portugal and the IAADS European Championships in a couple of weeks which I am looking forward to
Wish me luck and keep everything crossed I will do my best!

First competition of the Season and had a good run out at Norwich
Times were not great but as Mum says its a marker to build on for the rest of the season.
I did the 100m, 200m and Longjump
Getting ready for the summer games, I will be doing two events, the 100m and 200m.
I was very lucky to be asked to do some promotion work for the games, and around Cambridge in lots of bus shelters and billboards is this picture of me!.
Competed for my club Cambridge and Coleridge in the Southern Women’s league at Cambridge, I did 3 events the 100m, 200m and Long jump. It was really nice to take part in a competition with my training group, I get a lot of support from them.
I did well, got a Seasons best in my long jump and good training for the Special Olympics Summer Games in Bath on 28.8.13 – Wish me luck!
I represented the Athletics Team at the promotion of the Special Olympics Summer Games
