This evening Mum, Dad and I went to the Living Sport Award Ceremony in St Ives. I have been nominated in two categories the Living Sport Sports Performer of the Year and the Living Sport Disability Sport Performer of the Year. I was shortlisted for the Disability Sports performer which was a great honour as I have won this for the last two years. This year the award was rightly won by Tom Baty who won 4 gold medals in Athens for powerlifting. I was luckly to see Tom do his lifting in Athens and he was great, really proud for him and his family – Well done Tom.

The winner of the Living Sports, Sport performer of year was Louis Smith, good luck for the Olympics Louis, and my fellow C&C club member Ben Kelk was runner up, very deserved Ben.

We had a lovely evening and I was very pleased to be runner up, and also very happy that my athletic club Cambridge and Coleridge won the award for Community Club of the year.

Oh well enough rest now back to training at the weekend I am off to Lee Valley for a squad day.
